Introduction:
The JUTAI safety light curtain CL20 - 8L8 establishes a protective shield by generating a beam of light between the emitter and the receiver. When an object or person enters the grid area, the light beam is interrupted, instantly triggering the safety system to take appropriate actions. It is commonly installed at critical points of devices such as doors, automatic doors, lifting equipment, and more, to promptly detect potential crushing risks. Widely utilized in industrial and commercial settings, it is an essential component of automation systems, particularly in situations demanding high safety standards.

Blanking Mode:

The safety light curtain is installed within the door gap.
When the door closes normally, the light beams of the light curtain are sequentially blocked from top to bottom. This sequential blocking is recognized by the system as a normal door closing action.
When the door is in the process of closing and an object passes beneath and obstructs the light beam, it will cause the door to open at that moment.

Normal Mode:

It is installed on the inside and outside of the door. The light beams do not pass through when the door is closed.
In this mode, regardless of which light beam of the light curtain is blocked, the system will immediately output the door opening signal.

The light curtain comprises an emitter and a receiver.
It has an operating range of 1 - 8 meters.

Remarks: Within one minute of powering on, the green wire touches the receiver's GND five times (Red light blinks), and the yellow wire will turn into NC. (Red light blinking), the yellow wire will become NC.

Troubleshooting:

Fault Symptoms	Solutions
Slow Flashing Lights After Power On	The emitter and receiver are not aligned; readjust the alignment.
Red Light Flashing Fast (Transmitter End)	Voltage at the transmitter end is below 9V or above 28V, causing the red light to flash.
Light Curtain Is Normal, But The Door Has No Anti - pinch Action	Wiring error
Unable To Enter Concealment Mode	1. Light leakage occurs during the descent of the door, causing discontinuous blocking of the light beam. 2. The bottommost beam is blocked. 3. The lower door or obstruction does not meet the minimum distance required for continuous blocking.

Caveat:

Keep the connecting cables away from high voltage or high current conductors.
Ensure that the lower door or obstructive object used for concealment meets the minimum distance required for continuous blocking.
Wipe the windows of the emitter and receiver with a dry, soft cloth to prevent dirt from affecting normal operation.
Do not bend or twist the light curtain.
Avoid direct exposure of sunlight or other infrared light sources to the receiver.
Avoid scratching the surface of the infrared lenses.
