The RD79-6M is a high-precision 79-81GHz millimeter-wave radar sensor designed for parking barrier gates, vehicle entrance and exit control, pedestrian safety detection, and access automation.
It integrates multiple operating functions including Anti-Crush Mode, Trigger Mode, and Inclined Mount Trigger Mode, allowing the same radar to be configured for different barrier gate applications.
The sensor can distinguish between vehicles and pedestrians, supports vehicle-only detection or pedestrian and vehicle detection, and provides flexible on-site parameter adjustment through a Bluetooth mobile APP.
With 4cm distance resolution, a response time of less than 100ms, RS485 communication, and adjustable detection zones, the radar is designed for reliable barrier gate safety and vehicle triggering applications.
