Product Description
R24-D 24GHz Automatic Glass Door Microwave Motion Sensor
The R24-D is a 24.125GHz microwave radar motion sensor designed for automatic glass sliding doors and commercial entrance door systems.
It is mainly used as an automatic door activation sensor. When a person approaches the entrance, the radar detects the movement and sends a relay signal to the automatic door controller to trigger door opening.
Unlike a basic indoor motion detector, the R24-D supports movement direction recognition. In directional detection mode, approaching movement can be detected while movement away from the sensor can be ignored, helping reduce unnecessary door opening. The sensor can also be configured for bidirectional detection when required. RD24-4
24.125GHz Microwave Radar Detection
The sensor uses 24.125GHz microwave radar technology with an integrated MMIC planar antenna for stable motion detection and consistent sensitivity.
Direction Recognition
The radar can determine whether a person or moving object is:
- Approaching the door
- Moving away from the door
This function is particularly useful for automatic sliding doors because it helps prevent unnecessary activation from people moving away from the entrance.
Adjustable Detection Area
The sensor allows adjustment of:
- Detection sensitivity
- Detection direction
- Antenna angle
- Detection distance and coverage area
The antenna can be adjusted vertically and horizontally to suit different entrance layouts.
